A checklist of hover flies (Diptera, Syrphidae) of Kerala, India

Abstract

A checklist of the hover flies from Kerala belonging to two subfamilies is provided. Among the 59 species listed, the subfamily Syrphinae shares maximum number of species (34), followed by the subfamily Eristalinae (25).
